In collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait & Stevens Initiative Organization, Soliya Connect Program was held at KCST for the second time to bring together college-aged youth in the United States, the Middle East and North Africa for online dialogue to discuss global and social issues in the presence of trained facilitators. The program was presented in two rounds during the Spring semester, the first round opened the discussion of "Climate change and rising temperatures - do we prevent or adapt?", while the second round was about "Reimagining global health". The program aimed to open a network with American students, develop dialogue skills and discuss current global issues. KCST took the role of organising the program in Kuwait and the students' recruitment process. The feedback from the Stevens Initiative Organization was impressive about the high engagement of the students and their ability to express their ideas.

The foundation department celebrated the World's math day known as Pi day. This event took place on March 14 (the 3rd month) since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant figures of π, which is one of the most famous symbols in mathematics and has many important applications in physics, engineering, and statistics. This event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of mathematics and its role in shaping our world, as well as to promote the beauty and relevance of mathematics. Foundation students participated in different activities during that day such as the math riddles challenge and reciting the digits of Pi contest. Also, fun facts about the number PI were introduced and special treats and gifts were shared with the foundation students.

In an effort to encourage the students to read books, the library announced the launch of an activity called "Book of the Month", where a book would be suggested by a reader that would have a general lesson that can benefit a person on the individual level or professional level. The reader could be an academic person or a student. The people interested in reading it were given a chance to discuss the contents of the book with the reader who suggested it. The first book chosen was "Who moved my Cheese" by Spenser Johnson. The event was a success and a total of 16 students participated in it as well as 3 faculty members plus the reader who suggested it. This activity will continue in the fall semester and would be put on hold during exam periods..

The programming club represented by the student Omar Amjad, organised a workshop titled Fundamentals of Computer Network, where students could benefit from Omar's background knowledge of the subject. Several interactive activities were done throughout the seminar, and internship opportunities were given to the winning students as a reward.

Dr. Mubarak Ashwi Al Enezi arranged for a collaboration event with student groups in the library to compose articles in one of the topics from the curriculum. The aim was to encourage students to write and publish their articles in Kuwaiti daily newspapers, so people can read them inside and outside the university. The articles will be published in Arabic and English. KCST students proudly have produced four articles in the following topics: Ethics and Civilisation, History of Engineering among Muslims, The Difficult Days that the People of Kuwait went through, and The History of Hajj Trip for the People of Kuwait in the Past.

For senior students, the "Job interview and Body language" workshop was provided to the expected graduate students. The aim was to teach them the importance of body language during a job interview. They were offered tips on how to use positive and professional attitude, role play learning techniques were used within the session to motivate and engage students as well as enhance current teaching strategies, to provide real-world scenarios to help students learn and provide opportunities for critical observation of peers. The survey was conducted, the feedback was very positive and satisfying.

For KCST sports team, an interesting workshop session on "Competition and emotional Intelligence" was conducted with the students. After observing the players reaction within their games, it was a must to enlighten the students about the concept of competition and of loss. They were taught about Emotional intelligence concepts and several practice exercises were applied within the session. All members participated and shared their experiences; the session was successful and the students were able at the end to learn specific techniques on how to self-express, and build cognitive reconstruction by changing negative thoughts with positives ones.

In lieu of the Kuwait National Month, KCST held a two-day event where the entire fountain area on campus was set up with "kashta"-like seatings, food carts and booths, live music bands, dj and club/ssc organised booths.

Following the tradition of the Gulf area, KCST held a graish event that precedes the month of Ramadan. The event consisted of a whole block of student-owned business booths. the businesses were all related to graish, e.g.: food, traditional wear, Ramadan accessories…etc.
