President's Message
It is a great honour to serve as the first President of KCST and witness its remarkable progress since 2016 toward becoming a leading science and technology institution in the Middle East. KCST has achieved key milestones, including over 1500 graduates (2024/25) with a 90% employment rate within three months, and over 1000 faculty publications in five years.
We remain committed to our core values of Excellence, Care, and Respect. Our focus is on preparing students with lifelong learning skills, global awareness through UN SDG-linked projects, and the technical and managerial expertise needed to thrive in the job market.
KCST continues to invest in facilities, teaching, research, and talent. We are proud of our reputation for high teaching standards and impactful research, supported by unique facilities such as the MIT-certified FabLab, the first university Cybersecurity SOC in the Middle East, the world-first Renewable Energy stand-alone Testbed, and labs in AI, robotics, nanotechnology, and IoT.
Our innovation was evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, when our labs and volunteers supported Kuwait’s frontline workers by producing face shields and conducting research to combat the crisis.
KCST is expanding. Our new campus project began in November 2024 and will include advanced student, sports, and innovation facilities. We are updating our curriculum with IIT Delhi to include specialisations in Cybersecurity, AI, Data Analytics, Renewable Energy, and OT Instrumentation. New engineering and business programs, in collaboration with BAYES Business School, are awaiting final approval, marking our transition to university status.
KCST will always prioritise student success, offering quality education and fostering a culture of mutual respect among all. We are proud of our achievements and excited for the future. We hope you find our programs inspiring and look forward to welcoming you to KCST.
