Vision

To raise the reputation of KCST as one of leading Arab institutions in both research and international academic connections

Mission

To offer effective research support for KCST faculty staff, along with encouraging KCST students and alumni to be involved in academic research

Objectives

• Maximize the volume and variety of received research grants hosted by KCST
• Improve the Academic ranking of KCST
• Increase collaboration with regional/international institutes and industry
• Foster research environment at KCST to be aligned with priority themes
• Enrich the academic research records (publications, citations, and international collaboration)
• Support new academic collaborations: Graduate programs hosted outside Kuwait, summer global training, and post-doc program
• Facilitate co-supervision of MSc/PhD graduates

Themes

The university aligns it strategic priorities with the national development objectives (Kuwait-2025) and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs) in the areas of specialization of the university. These include but not limited to:
