Students from Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST), including vocalist Qutaiba Al-Munshid and Turki Al-Dalmani, participated as part of Team Bluetech Plus in the Innovation Competition (Industries Category) during the 16th Arab Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Championship. The event was organized by the Arab Society for Robotics and AI and held in Hammamet, Tunisia, with the participation of around 500 individuals — including team members, coaches, and delegates — from 16 Arab countries. Kuwait was represented by the Kuwait Information Technology Society.

The tournament took place from April 11 to 14, during which the team presented their project titled “Central Rescue”. The project proposes a solution to the recurring issue of people going missing in remote areas such as deserts — a challenge that affects many communities across the Arab world.

The project received the prestigious "Best Idea in the Arab World" award, recognizing its creativity and practical approach to addressing real-world societal challenges.

KCST is proud of its students for their spirit of innovation, technical excellence, and commitment to using technology to make a meaningful impact.
