Putting aside KCST’s state of the art architecture and the cutting-edge technology, our best asset is our environment which is made up of who we work with and their attitudes. It’s what makes going to work something I continuously anticipate, as everyone is recognized, appreciated and our contributions make a real difference in our students’ educational paths as well as our colleagues career ladder.

I recently joined KCST as a MATH professor and I am extremely impressed by the whole team of caring staff and highly qualified faculty members. Student-centered learning environment, impressive infrastructure, state-of-the-art facilities, laboratories, hands-on experience, and full access to caring professors, all that makes KCST a unique learning experience.

Watching KCST grow from only 16 students and a dozen staff members to over 1000 students and 100 staff members in just a few years makes me proud to be part of this tremendous development from the very beginning. KCST’s achievement is not solely its expansion
but the university embrace to constantly improve the quality of its education, research and academic experience.

Being part of the KCST is a great honour for me. I admire and proud that we own the significant elements of success in our University in terms of the high quality of programs, experienced academic and staff, excellent campus, efficient organization for events, and perfect teaching facilities. At KCST I am surrounded by multicultural, highly educated and supportive colleagues from different departments. And although we come from different backgrounds and our tasks are not the same, our goals are unified; to continue to work hard in order to deliver the most up to date methods of teaching and to offer the best and most distinguished services to our students and the community as well, since KCST has played a major role during the Covid-19 pandemic, by providing frontline workers in Kuwait with face shields, which were made at KCST. Being a faculty member at KCST makes me feel proud, not only because of the reasons mentioned, but also because of the management's trust and confidence in us.

I would like to write real words without hypocrisy for people of Kuwait and Jahra particular. The first goal of our university is build strong and leadership personalities for our students in the future. The evidence of that is our curriculum, which combine between engineering and management courses.it means the student become an engineer and manager at the same time. Many labs you can see it in our campus because our president focuses for the important practical side. Honestly, I am very proud of the supreme role of KCST in the society, which is the only one of the universities that supported the government health effort against Corona Virus. Therefore, it provided them many masks, which made it in our Fablab Center by our students.

I joined Kuwait College of Science & Technology in 2016 and am much impressed by its insights and culture. KCST is far more than an educational institution to me. The positive vibes, the novelties both in curricula and extracurricular activities that KCST providing to the students and staff are exceptional. Within short span of time KCST could par excellence in the region. I personally felt excellence, sociable and care are qualities that exude from the top and flow throughout the rest of the institution. Institution’s innovative approaches, research outputs, social involvements and media coverages had made feel proud of being in KCST.

I wish KCST to surmount more heights and more golden feathers to its crown.

Being part of KCST family is a joy on many levels. I highly recommend the place for anyone interested in research, higher education and new opportunities. The diversity also supports founding a very healthy environment, great work culture and supportive management and staff. Working at KCST is definitely a rewarding experience.

I have been with KCST since the very early days, in 2015. From the start, I have agreed with the strategic orientation of the President, that is, to create a new "breed" of science and engineering professionals. Such an orientation might be summed up as the intention to provide the economy of Kuwait with professionals who are not only strong in the foundations and subject matter of our science/engineering majors, but also professionals who are abe to think independently, understand their environment (including their organizational environment) and to express themselves (in English) clearly and persuasively. My contribution has been in the development and implementation of courses (for the current and future science and engineering programs) and entire programs (for the future Faculty of Business Management) in the areas of Economics, Accounting, Finance, Management and Entrepreneurship. I have no doubt that within the next five years, KCST (and the future UTK-University of Technology in Kuwait) will be among the top private universities in the GCC.

In the last 11 years, I have been holding different teaching and research positions at Qatar University (QU), Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ), and Kuwait College of Science and Technology (KCST). I am an active Researcher in the field of Integration of Utility Scale PV Systems into SMART GRIDS across the hardware-software stack with grants worth over than $6 million dollars with collaborators from international universities. I have been an Associate Professor with the department of Electronic and Communications Engineering (ECE) at KCST from September 2018. I have been teaching more than four courses such as EE 211 – Circuit Theory, EE 365 – Power Electronics, EE 351 – Control Systems and Instrumentation, and EE 101 – Introduction to Electrical Engineering. I am proud of my students at KCST. These students not only have strong academic background and excellent working experience, but also fully commit, with great motivation, to work on advanced research subjects. My students’ research capabilities would compete with any other prestigious universities. Some of my students’ research project may publish on the first-class academic journal soon. Therefore, I am confident that KCST offers one of the best ECE programs in the Gulf region. Students will have more better opportunity to succeed than ever before in Electronic and Communications Engineering after completing the ECE program at KCST.

I haven’t seen anything but positivity and professionalism. Our distinctively colorful campus is safe, peaceful, lively, and well-equipped. It has all the essential facilities students, faculty members, and staff need such as a food court, indoor and outdoor seating areas, labs, a library, a clinic, auditoriums, up-to-date technology, a soccer field, and a vast shaded parking lot. Our campus is a 15-minute drive to the Avenues Mall and a 20-minute drive to downtown Kuwait. Our faculty members and staff aren’t only diverse, but they are also professional, easygoing, and highly trained to teach, support, and advise students at the post-secondary level. At KCST, we believe that students improve when they are challenged and pushed out of their comfort zones. Therefore, we adopt a learner-centered approach. Our students are actively involved in the learning process throughout their college life. In addition, we believe class size has a major impact on student achievement. For that reason, we have medium-sized classes to allow interaction among students and more individual attention from instructors to students. Just like our faculty members and staff, our students are dedicated and enthusiastic. The work environment here at KCST is eventful, positive, accommodating, and discrimination-free; everybody is welcome at KCST. English is the language of instruction and the mode of communication on campus. KCST is committed to research, professional development, and employee well-being. In a nutshell, everyone is highly appreciated and respected here. We really feel good about coming to work.
